The high-performance, electric powered Razor MX650 Dirt Rocket is ideal for teens (ages 16 and up) who want to enjoy an authentic dirt bike experience without breaking the bank. The Dirt Rocket's powerful motor carries riders at speeds of up to 17 miles per hour--more than enough for most bumpy dirt trails--and can cruise for up to 10 miles (or 40 minutes) on a single charge. At the same time, the bike's dual suspension and riser handlebars deliver a smooth and comfortable ride regardless of the terrain, so the fun isn't restricted to flat pavement. As a final bonus, the Dirt Rocket's variable-speed, chain-driven motor is extremely quiet, a marked contrast to traditional gas-powered motocross bikes.

Other details include 16- and 14-inch pneumatic knobby tires for a maximum power transfer, authentic dirt bike frame geometry, Supercross inspired design, and folding metal foot pegs. The MX650, which requires roughly eight hours to fully charge, offers a maximum weight limit of 140 pounds. It's also backed by a 90-day warranty.

It was purchased for my 11 and 12 year old boys and it even tops the top ranking video game gifts. So far, they ride their bikes every day and do a few laps around the neighborhood before needing to recharge again. They're quiet so they don't disturb the neighbors, and they travel at a "fast enough" speed for their age group. I would definitely recommend this gift to anyone. My 16 year old niece has also ridden it and enjoyed it. She's a little too high, but the excitement is still there. Kids have the part of being a real Dirtbike rider without all the dirt...lol

Love it putting the 15 amp batteries in it for longer life change the color of the brakes the grips and some odd modifications all to match the color of the yellow bike

This is great. My 9 yr old son really loves this. It is heavy so must have kids use with caution. So far no issues for my 11 and 9 yr old. Since my husband was on work travel my younger son was nagging me to get it set up. Wasnt sure I could set it up but I did and it was super easy coming from a person that did not want to ruin a fresh manicure. I got on and did test ride before giving the boys and it was fast and fun.

Read through reviews and wondered if this would be too much for my 9 year old daughter. It's not and she loves it! Shes barely 60 pounds and rides this thing like a champ in our backyard. Glad to have went with this model instead of the smaller and slower versions. Fairly decent quality besides the cheap plastics. Real tires and some real metal throughout. Assembly was under 30 minutes and only included putting on 1 tire and the handlebars. First charge was 12 hours and from what I read is very important towards future battery life. Battery lasts 45 minutes to an hour on a full charge

Well I've only just now got it fully charged for 24 hours. It is sturdier then I thought it would be, heavier, and seems pretty ruggedly made. But just climbing a mild Hill in front of my house it doesn't do so well. I might have it for sale soon to someone with kids that lives on a flat subdivision. We will see. It just will not go up a hill with a hundred 40 lb man on it. A 5-degree hill. It is for kids only.
