I'm not sure what the story is with most of the bad reviews regarding stability/quality. It's a pop-up canopy! Here's what's up...if you're setting this up in the middle of your yard and it's going to be windy then I think you're going to run into issues. This canopy is definitely not designed to be set up and left up all summer because of what I just mentioned. That being said, I'm being rebellious. I have a fenced in patio and I set mine up in the corner so I was able to tie down all four corners of the canopy to my fence (with rope provided to do so). I also used 35 LB sand weights at each leg. On top of that, I've bungie corded the center of each leg to my fence as well. The same day I set this puppy up we had high winds and inclement weather. Wind gusts hit 15-28 miles per hour. I was scared, but set up is cumbersome since I live alone and it'd be cool to just leave it up because it'd be nearly impossible to set up alone/set up isn't as fast as they market. It's easy, but time consuming. It's still up! No tears, no negative effects, etc. If you have the appropriate space to tether this puppy down then you should be good. It's a solid product IMO if you use it correctly. That being said, I'd probably take her down if your area is going to have wind speeds upwards of 30+ miles per hour. I also can't see this holding up the entire season if it keeps taking a beating from the wind like it did night one. Use the product as intended if you don't have the appropriate space to tether it down - as a pop up/not permanent structure and you should be good. You can push the boundaries if you have something to anchor this bad boy down too per my experience. Worth the buy. 8 people found this helpful
Ta**** JThis gazebo is awesome for the price! I’ve had it for about 3 months now and it’s holding up awesome. It’s not totally water resistant, as there are small holes at the top that let water in.. but I didn’t get it to be totally water resistant - just block some of that Texas sun. Assembly was a little bit confusing initially since the instructions aren’t totally clear; but it took less than 30 mins to assemble with 2 people.. and once you get it going it’s easy peasy! If you’re looking for a gazebo to last you for a year or so (I don’t see this one holding up past that) then this is an awesome one for the price!!
Prem********tentI bought this for my renaissance faire group to use. Our season is light (2 weekends, and we used it for an additional weekend at another event), and we're in an area of the faire ground that doesn't get strong winds. You cannot set up this canopy with less than 2 people, but 4 is ideal. It does get easier the more you set up. The color and structure are great. not too modern that it requires significant alteration to fit in at the ren faire, but not a headache to put together like a period-accurate tent would be. The vent at the top can let in a bit of rain if there's any breeze, as do the grommeted holes on each side of the canopy, but it's pretty minimal (and we tie a tarp over the top for overnight, just in case). The rings on each leg and the loops inside to attach the wall pieces make decorating this tent SUPER easy for our group, which has made our faire setup much less of a hassle. I wouldn't recommend this canopy for heavy/super frequent usage, but if you're going to be using it a handful of weekends out of the year, it's a great value!
Sa*****S.First time using it, so it took about 20-30 to set up but we were glad to have it when it started drizzling!
Ste****** RThis was easy to set up but you do need 2 people for a brief time. Looks great, sturdy, and very nice shade.
va****eIt's the Nicest and sturdiness gazebo tent I've ever seen. Frame is HEAVY which is good but makes it hard to maneuver. Don't believe how easy it looks in the video. Written instructions are not helpful. Maybe due to a language barrier. Took 3 of us and a ladder to get the job done. 🤣
Amaz********merSummer was too hot on our back patio. After getting this, it felt like adding an extra room to our living space, and for cheap! Definitely a high value investment. The material began to wear down after the better part of a year leaving it up, but contact the manufacturer if you run into any troubles. Customer service was fantastic. Very quick to respond, and they replaced our fabric, no questions asked. Highly recommend this product.
T**yI bought this gazebo for my mother. Assembling the product wasn’t hard. It took my wife and I about 2 hours. But only because we couldn’t figure out where to put the curtain hooks. The instructions are very straight forward. My mom loves it. Oh the lights don’t come with it. We bought it separately.
