Answer:6 1/2" from floor to frame, with 6 leg supports under bed.
Question:How does the headboard and footboard attach to the frame?
Answer:It comes with screws that attach head and footboards to the frame.
Question:Does this bed include a frame?
Answer:If you mean does it have side rails in addition to the head and foot board, then yes. It also has supports that connect to the side rails.

Wonderful Quality! Sturdy whilst presenting an Authentic Farmhouse Rustic Look! I had a person with mechanical experience assemble the bed .. He was pleased with the ease, the parts and tool package and quality of the unit .. My Neighbors Love It .. As do I!!! Thank you!!!

I put this bed together by myself (65 year old woman). It took about 5 hours. I included a picture of how I balanced it to be able to do it myself; it's against the wall on one end with a chair against it at the other. There were some contortionist moves involved but I did complete it. ;-) Long story short, I sleep just fine in it. ;-)

Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. I was initially concerned that the product description didn't mention a frame, just the head and foot boards, but there was indeed an entire bed. Bear in mind this an aluminum frame - if you're looking for a reproduction iron bed, this isn't that. Still a good product. Be careful not to overtighten the hardware!! The frame has six aluminum dowel-type supports that attach to the frame and support it to the floor (a standard feature for any bed). They're about a 1 inch diameter and I was concerned that I would not be able to slide the bed on our hardwood floor, or that they may mark or damage the floor over time, so I went to Home Depot and purchased six support cups with Velcro on the bottom and placed them between the bad and the floor.
