Coming from the Apple Watch Series 7 I was intrigued while also skeptical about upgrading to the Ultra. Very pleased I made the switch! Battery life is superior, it’s not as bulky as I thought and the overall look is pretty slick in my opinion. The Apple Watch has become a permanent piece of “clothing” in my daily life and this has been the best one by far.

I really like the design, it feels light, the brightness is excellent. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a smart watch

I have had the Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 4 in its aluminium version, for this year I decided to upgrade and I was looking for the Series 8 in its stainless steel version as I was looking to change the look of the case. Once the Apple event was over I could see that there was only 50 dlls difference between the Series 8 and the Ultra and that's why I went for the Ultra. You gain screen, renewed design, more premium material, better battery and certifications. In my opinion if you are thinking of buying the Series 8 in its stainless steel version I would buy the Ultra for the features mentioned above and the small price difference justifies it unless you have a small wrist because the watch is big.

10/10 looks 10/10 function 10/10 battery 8/10 strap The battery is a huge shift. It becomes part of you, rather than something you take off nightly. I’m actually tracking my sleep now. It charges up quickly with usb-c. I hated the strap hook at first, but it’s easy now. And, well, you only take it off 3 times/week. Strap color (orange) is ridiculous and just pops. The screen is simply stunning. I love looking at it. Clarity + brightness. I went hiking alone, the siren gave a bit of comfort. It seems durable. Not sure if I want a screen protector. Recommended.

The Ultra is big, but no bigger than a lot of my watches. It is comfortable on my wrist for all day wear, and every health function works perfectly. I like tracking my activity, heart rate, and sleep. There are tons of functions and by the way, using it as a phone works brilliantly except in really noisy situations. The Alpine white band is very comfortable, easy to cinch with one hand and looks terrific. I haven’t and will probably never use the diving function, but it’s nice that it’s available. The GPS tracking and backtrack work great also. Lastly, I have been averaging around 72 hours on each charge, and I never have let it get below 20 percent. I had the original Apple Watch and this one is a just so much better. I’m 72 years old and I highly recommend it.

I was an early adopter and pre-ordered the Gen one or series 0 Apple Watch. I have had a couple since then, always purchasing the stainless steel. This watch is superior in every way and I love it! Excellent upgrade!

Functionality wise it isn't leaps and bounds above Samsung's offerings or Apple's own Series 8 watches. Battery life is on par now with the Watch 5 Pro. Why do I like it better than everything else then? Durability. I destroyed my Series 7 and my last two Sammy watches. They get beat up on my wrist and aren't that durable. The Ultra is different. It is super durable. I do not have a scratch on the glass or the titanium casing yet after weeks of heavy usage. The plain titanium is far better than the painted for wear. The sapphire used for the glass does not do the micro scratching that the series 7 did so easily. Finally a smart watch that withstand damage. I am not going into the technical aspects or the software as those are fine and to be expected. Battery life is decent. I get a full day with all bells and whistles but not 2 full days. GPS is nice with or without phone. It is a great watch. ******Update: About a month in and I have ran, walked, mountain biked, hiked, swam, smacked the watch against door, cars, poles. I have absolutely no scratches/dents or any wear on the watch itself. The original alpine loop shows some wear, but I think all cloth straps will show wear in a constant active environment. I am impressed at the durability of this watch. I literally do damage to everything I touch and take no damage. Its like god mode for a watch.

I am not a Triathlon person plus I have a small wrist, 5 - 1/2. But I love it, I do Roller skates (O.G.), walking/dog walker, mindful breathing and gardener! This Ultra keeps up with my needs especially not having to charge it daily, I get about 3 days no charging! I'm very happy with my purchase and I recommend it to the everyday person(s) to try it! Long batter life, bright screen and never needed to charge before 3 days!
