I can't share enough positive feedback about this pergola. It's sturdy, beautiful, well made and looks amazing. I went the extra step and hired someone local to install it. He's an exceptional carpenter and it took him 4 hours to set it up by himself. Nothing was missing and just one small dent in one post that was hidden once the roof was installed. It's not cheap I know but well worth it.

The pergola is gorgeous and we love it. The only problem was when the three boxes arrived two of them were damaged. I mean seriously damaged. There were at least 20 pieces that were totally unusable. I emailed the company and sent a list of the damaged parts along with pictures. They immediately replaced the two boxes. What could have been a nightmare was a great experience. We did hire a contractor to put it together, and it took his 2-man crew about 7 hours. This is a great company that stands behind their product!!

It was easy to build and I'm very happy with the end product. It's just what I expected and the customer service was outstanding. I recommend it.

I love my pergola....it was perfect for my patio and not to difficult to assemble. Can't wait to have more outdoor gatherings with family and friends.

Beautiful pergola, it was easy to install between two persons. No major issues with alignment of the pieces with the bolts. We anchored it to the deck, which made the structure sturdier, columns are light and beams are light but strong. Once it's put together it is pretty solid. The louvered roof is beautiful and works smoothly. The day after installing it rained and no water came through and you could hear it coming down the columns through the gutter like system it has. Customer service has been excellent, staying in touch to ensure all was good with the product and delivery.

The idea of putting this together was a bit intimidating but my husband and my 15 year old son were able to put it together in about 4 hours. Based on their limited experience assembling items, I would say this isn’t very difficult to assemble. It is beautiful and sturdy. If you’re on the fence with this purchase, go for it!

I am very pleased with the Pergola. The louvers are easy to operate and keep the rain out! A part was delivered damaged but Purple Leaf was quick to respond and promptly provided a replacement. The communication with Purple Leaf has been great.

We are very happy with the pergola. The company was very responsive when contacted for a missing part due to shipping issues. It took us about 5 hours at retired people pace to erect the structure. It was a typical build following picture instructions. Some of the screws would have been easier to install had they been a little longer. I recommend buying a hex key wrench set for a power driver to use on the screws provided. I used 7/16 x 4" lag screws (not provided) to attach to my deck with blocking underneath. The aluminum is light weight yet sturdy enough to make sure that it is anchored well. There is little to no play in the structure making me believe that wind should not be an issue.

I LOVE this pergola! My landscaper installed it on a concrete pad and he said it was an easy assembly. It has extended my living space and I have already had several fun pergola parties. I love the fact that the louvers can be opened and closed and they work seamlessly. Being a metal pergola, I love that it is maintenance free compared to wood pergolas. So far in Texas we have had up to 50 mile an hour winds and the pergola does sway a bit but it remains intact. Of course the Pergola has been batten down per instructions to the concrete slab with bolts. I am always careful to open the louvers if Highwinds or snow or ice are expected. Customer service with this company is awesome. There was damage to two louvers in shipping and they replaced the two louvers plus extra louvers. They were great about communicating in a timely fashion During the whole process.
