Question: Will this stand up under a snow load? I would like to have it closed in winter to shelter the deck.
Answer: Dear customer, please do not allow snow to accumulate on the louver roof. Open the louvers when it's heavily snowy. In case of high winds or other extreme weather conditions, open the louvers and raise or remove any shade screen accessories that have been installed to avoid potential damage to your pergola.Question: Can you sit under this when it rains and stay dry when the slats are down?
Answer: Yes, you canQuestion: What are the foundation requirements? We have brick pavers now and assume a small area of bricks are to be removed and concrete placed.
Answer: The explosive bolts are included to help anchored into the ground/concrete. The wind resistance is 65 mph and it will have a better wind resistance performance if you have the posts anchored into the ground. And you don't need to do this if you are not living in a windy place.Question: will it hold if I hang a hammock from the pillars?
Answer: Would not recommend, but it’s your choice to try. -

Very good pergola. The assembly is a bit laborious, it brings a lot of pieces and you have to be patient, the scheme is well explained and it is a matter of following it as is. The material is very light and looks quality. It looks great and works perfectly.

Arrived early which was great. Definitely need two people ( preferably tall!) to build. Main component parts labelled and we took take to initially label the screws etc . Took longer than 4 hours to complete but we took our time, followed the instructions really carefully and made no mistakes. Used it every day. Very happy.

We ordered this 3m x 4m pergola with beige canopy and it was delivered on time. The instruction manual was straightforward and the pergola easy to assemble. We are very pleased with this item. It is definitely a lovely addition to our garden. Highly recommended.

Arrived ahead of schedule, didn't have instructions but emailed supplier who provided instructions via email very promptly. Fairly easy and quick to assemble and erect on deck. Hopefully will last several years. Mainly aluminium construction, feet are steel which slightly disappointed about and poles in cover steel too as in description.

We were looking for a pergola for the terrace without making a big investment. And we found this one. Easy to assemble, it has very practical sliding awning, and aesthetically looks great. The awning is plasticized, when it dries slightly, it keeps the furniture dry. But if it rains a lot, it gets through. Perfect for what I wanted her. I would definitely buy it again.

Ordered Saturday and arrived in 2 boxes Wednesday. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and was constructed in a few hours. Looks perfect in the garden. Really pleased with it and the company's delivery times.

I just received this last week and assembled it by myself! I only needed help lifting the boxes. I had been researching louvered pergola's for about 6 months and I'm extremely happy with our decision to purchase this one. So much so I'm getting another one. Had some friends over yesterday and they are planning to get one as well.

This was absolutely perfect for us. We live by the sea so it gets pretty windy, We’ve had every kind of gazebo, last year we had 3 in one season, the retractable roof means we can have it as shaded as we want, no having to get help to put roof on and off all the time when the winds up. It’s very sturdy and looks great. If I had room I’d get another one!

Was pretty simple to put together, it took two of us about 2/3 hours. Already had a wind/rain storm and it didn’t budge. We love it so much we are considering getting another one for our hot tub. Shipping was quick, got it a week early and not one thing was damaged.
