I was able to build this alone in about 7 days. This included staining the wood. You must stain / seal the wood before building or it will last 1/2 as long. I modified 2 of the leg positions so it fit my patio better with out having to buy a smaller one. I also lined the underside so it looks more finished and it radiates less heat from the sun. This Gazebo's roof framing is all steel and that lets you build it by yourself. You are only working with one piece at a time. Not large roof sections that are heavy. The wood framing type of designs require 2 extra Buddys on the roof lifting days. Every hole is predrilled. And the holes are in the exact spot needed. No re-drilling any of them! P.S. I added a Cosmetic liner under to make it look more finished. Its "Bamboo Tatami" material from "Forever Bamboo". One roll was plenty.
S***SThe instructions could be a little more detailed as I’ve had to take apart multiple pieces and reassemble them because the instructions didn’t show particular directions the pieces had to be bolted together. Putting together the roof sections takes atleast 4 people, multiple ladders and lots of finesse. Other than that it looks great. Time will tell how long it lasts but hopefully a long time.
E***WRMost detailed instructions I have used in construction. Cuts are precise and hardware is ample.
S***ETThe frame can be put together with 2 people or if you have a way of holding one 14 foot side vertically, I tied it to a fence with bungy cords, then you can build that part yourself.. Bought some extra long 12" x1/4 hex bolts to help raise the long top beams. Make sure all the roof sections are built correctly otherwise they wont fit properly when raising them up. It needs minimum two people to raise the long roof section, I used a 2x4x10 stud with an angle bracket to hold up that long section( no need for one extra person on a ladder). The next end section once raised can be bolted to the long section holding it up. The next long section when raising bolt a 2x4x10 to the top and then push up as you bring it up to line up with the short section, bolts in and its pretty much holding on its own. The last section is then easy to push up and bolt in. With some of the 1 1/2 inch pan screws better to start them with a supplied drill bit as the wood can easily split.

S***DWhen it arrives it is in a few heavy boxes that if you can have help to move around. There is a lot of pieces but very easy to follow directions. You definitely need a few friends to help with assembly and lifting. Overall great product!
SA****TGreat product. Good price. Less than buying the raw materials from building supply warehouse. Little trick to build by yourself, but manageable.
DA****WTThe gazebo is beautiful. We had it professionally assembled and are glad we did since it is a large project (for us). We also had the 2 privacy walls assembled at the same time, also beautiful. Recommend this product.
Ro*****S.We are using it to cover our new outdoor kitchen. I was very easy to assemble. Bought my father-in-law a 12x12 for his patio after getting the 12x14 for ourselves.
