Customer questions & answers
Question:What is the best or compatible model of 8gb ddr4 ram 2933mhz that i can upgrade to it? i want to make a double channel 16gb (8x2)
Answer:Any old 2933mhz stick should be compatible and you won't see a difference. Just make sure it's the SODDIMM form factor and it's DDR4.
Question:Will i be able to run bone works and half life alyx at all on this laptop, if not what upgrades should i put on it?
Answer:It should handle it, but you may have to make sacrifices in the setting menu.
Question:Does it run Borderlands 3?
Answer:Yes sir! Without any problem
Question:How do I keep Alexa from accessing the microphone on the device?
Answer:Go into the SETTINGS menu and open PERMISSIONS. Look for your device & click to open. Turn off ALEXA microphone access. Save, reboot and it's done. Hope this helps.
Question:What is the RAM mhz in the intel i5, gtx 3050?
Answer:This Nitro laptop has DDR4 3200 SO-DIMM memory.
Question:How do i put in my 16 gb ram stick i bought? and my 1tb ssd?
Answer:That's a big job, you have to remove the entire bottom part of the laptop. Very delicate process, I strongly recommend having a professional do it unless you're very experienced.
Great product, works very well for now, was delivered on schedule.
Very good pc, can be easily upgraded for more power. It doesn't get too hot, the speakers are fine (although I use headphones most of the time), and it can easily replace a desktop for its price.
Excellent product at a good price Now to upgrade ram and storage
My daughter was so excited to receive this for her birthday she couldn't stop smiling! It does everything it's supposed to do for a 14 year old!
I am honest at the beginning I was a little skeptical that this computer could be good but I have to change my mind, it works very well and I can almost play all the games without any problem, I recommend it to everyone! Also for the fact of the charger I was a little fearful that it could not be charged well but in the end it is enough to make it take 2 shots and the computer recharges in me that you do not say, the only flaw could be the battery life!
Think of this laptop like a manual car, you have to change settings constantly. If your just browsing on battery they have to be set one way. If your about to get on some video editing then set the other I'm very please, Absolutely love my new Acer Nitro 5!!
I have the computer approximately 4 months. For the purchase price the specifications are good, I bought the most basic version that includes an i5, 250 gb nvme, 8 gb of ram and RTX 3050. In addition to that, I bought 16 Gb of ram in two Gskill brand Dim and changed it for the module that comes from the factory. The manufacturing materials are a 7.5/10, the touch pad is lousy, the worst is the lousy quality camera and the speakers don't sound at all. Finally, the battery does not last if you use it to work, in my architectural house, the most it has lasted for me is 3 hours, the rest of the time it must be 100% connected. The components are good but it does have bad points like those mentioned above.
