About this item
4K ULED: Like 4K great, but better. The 55U7G has our exclusive ULED technologies. They boost color, contrast, brightness, motion we could go on. It’s the TV your old TV wants to be.
Quantum Dot Wide Color Gamut: See over one billion shades. Quantum Dot produces purer, richer, more brilliant and accurate colors than a regular LED TV. We could get into how it works. But it’s a lot easier to say it makes every day look like the 4th of July.
Ultra Motion and 120Hz Native refresh rate: Ultra Motion removes the digital ‘noise’ that can affect moving objects. Whether it’s a bird, a plane or the man of steel, everything you see is exceptionally clear. Blurred lines. Not on this TV, the 120Hz native refresh rate means smoother gaming with pictures that keep up with your play.
Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos: Dolby Vision HDR picture and Dolby Atmos sound are cinema technology for your home. They provide amazing realism you can see and hear in every scene.
IMAX Enhanced: IMAX Enhanced brings the cinema experience home. It combines digitally remastered 4K HDR content and DTS audio technologies with the best consumer products and streaming platforms. Built for people who want a more premier, at-home experience.

Customer questions & answers
Question:Does the 75inch u7g have a va panel? hoping that someone can answer that owns the 75 inch u7g hisense tv.
Answer:No it does not, but the picture is fantastic. I mean amazing, you will love it. I am coming from a big end Samsung that suddenly died and this mid range TV has more features and even looks a tiny bit better for 1/2 the cost. I use it with my PS5 and Xbox Series X for gaming and it is just wowing. Nice!
Question:Can the 2.1 hdmi ports be used for a blu ray player or Nintendo switch?
Answer:Yes, HDMI 2.1 is rated for higher data transfer. But still works just fine for all the older ones.
Question:65" is a va panel vs the 75" ips panel? is there a difference between them?
Answer:Vertical Alignment (VA) panels have narrow viewing angles – you typically need to be just about dead center for the image to look right – and high contrast. In-Plane Switching (IPS) panels have wide viewing angle and typically lower contrast ratios than VA.
Question:How do you turn off ACR?
Answer:Go to the “Home” screen, select “Settings”, select “System”, select “Advanced Settings”, and Opt-Out by selecting the icon to turn off “Automatic Content Recognition”.
Question:Does it have PIP option?
Answer:No Picture in Picture
I'm an avid gamer and I was looking for a good dependable TV with good picture and great sound. Rather than just having good picture it has (amazing picture) and the sound quality is top-notch. I have found no issue with this TV so far. Based on what you're viewing it automatically adapts to your programming. So pleased with my tv I couldn't be more happy with my purchase!!
I bought this TV solely for gaming on the PS5 since it is has 2x HDMI2.1 ports which means I can play both in 4k and 120hz. So far gaming experience wise it's amazing, the colors pop, picture is clear, and super bright as well. The trim and bezels are also very sleek and minimal, as if it didn't have bezels at all. It is a pretty light TV as well which surprised me. I would recommend this to anyone. As for my gaming experience, others were complaining about ghosting, but I can tell you that mine did not have it or it was too minimal for me to recognize. It's very playable at 120hz and I have not had any black screens or tearing whatsoever. Just fyi, you will need to mess with the TV settings to get 120hz right off the bat, I believe it was setting the picture to optimized. The TV's OS is also very responsive, I had no issue with it whatsoever. The Remote worked perfectly and there was no lag or crashes on the apps either. Picture quality is great for media consumption and gaming. I highly highly recommend this TV!!
Yes. HDR and Dolby Vision are fantastic. I have a surround sound system so I'm not a fan of TV audio. All I can say is that the sound can be room filling and I can hear the difference on Atmos enabled videos, but really how much can you do with sound in an LED TV Panel? That's what AVRs and speakers are for! Not much of a gamer, but I appreciate the native 120Hz refresh rate. I wasn't willing to drop the kind of coin for OLED from the big 3. This is VERY close to those I've seen while shopping! Live football in 4K is amazing. All of the minor criticisms about blooming and motion are not noticeable in my viewing experience at my settings. I do recommend that you read more about this set on a testing site review and follow their settings for testing. From there you can adjust light and motion for your unique viewing area and preferences. You have control of dimming zones, backlighting, color, contrast . . . it's up to you. Many presets including "Filmmaker" that gives you more options for a theater experience. It is 3 times as bright as my Sony Bravia 55X720E which had lame HDR with very dim backlighting and failed on an update out of warranty.
My phone quality is bad, so it doesn’t do this tv justice. We bought the 65” option and am super happy with it. We needed a new tv and looked at Samsung options, but after comparing reviews and what each tv had to offer, the Hisense far outweighed what Samsung and other popular smart tvs had to offer. I’ve waited a bit to write this review to make sure I was happy with the Hisense. And it has far surpassed my expectations. We had a TLC before and WOW! The difference between the speeds, picture quality, and even sound quality are amazing. I know there are reviews on here about the tv coming in damaged so I was nervous about that, but the packaging it arrived in was phenomenal. We have had zero issues with it and it is user friendly to set up. Highly recommend for your next and final tv!
It isn't totally noticeable around subtitles, but in some shows like Moon Knight where a character's face will be shown in the pitch darkness, you will see a subtle halo around the image. You have to decide how much this is going to bother you. It doesn't really bother me anymore. The first time I noticed it, it definitely bothered me. But because the picture is overall other-worldy and the android OS functions at lightning speed, I am in love with this TV.
Excellent picture, Dolby atmos, Android smart tv. If you are looking for an economical large screen tv I can highly recommend Hisense. I use it with Starlink satellite installation and am very satisfied.
The TV(U75G) is in fact not limited to 4k@60Hz for PS5 gaming on port 3 or 4. In order to get true 4k@120Hz you need to enable the settings within the game like Fortnite. I enabled free snyc on the tv and VRR on the PS5. I've used various hdmi 2.1 and still can't force the TV to display 4k@120Hz unless you play the games that supports it. PS5 menu/home screen is capped at only 4k@60Hz in my attached picture. This is due to video bandwith limitation by PS5 which is capped at 32Gpbs while XSX is capped at 40Gbps. So if you experiencing this issue on U75 is most likely the PS5. After various investigation I've concluded that the U7G is great for Streaming and Gaming. My recommendation to Hisense is proving firmware update to the TVs because there are screen tearing when playing some 4k@120Hz.
